The base game here is similar to Incredible Technologies' "Money Roll" game. The bonus is very different.

I found the bonus a little bit obtuse. In particular, the extra spins that "free up" the blue gems seemed like they were a penalty at first. Watch the win meter and you will see that your win actually goes DOWN when you get an extra spin.

What is happening is that you are freeing up spaces for higher value gems to fall into place. So, you now have an increased chance of catching a higher win. I think the game would be a little bit better if the released blue gems added to your win, not subtracted. The difference is minor, but the feeling the player gets when the extra spin symbol is caught is more positive.

It also took a little bit to understand how the Diamonds work. They are obviously the top symbol that you want to catch, but the role of the Diamond Saver is obscure. I did not get this feature, so I don't have a good understanding of how it is supposed to work. It seems that IF you get the Exact number of Diamonds, you get the chance to convert some gems into Diamonds. If so, this feature is a bit frustrating because you might blow past the exact number that you need if your spin just added bunch of Diamonds. In other words, again we have a love/hate situation. You just caught a bunch of Diamonds, but you also blew past your chance to add even more Diamonds.

It would be better if the Diamond Save feature was given if you hit the right level OR better.

I think this game is semi-ready for prime time. The current design is "too clever by half", as they say.
