Candidate of Pakistani political party killed days ahead of general election

Pakistani police say a candidate from Imran Khan's Pakistan Justice Movement party has been killed in a suicide attack. The attack in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa targeted the vehicle of Ikramullah Gandapur. He was a candidate for the provisional legislative assembly in the northwestern city of Dera. It comes just days ahead of general elections and follows a spate of bombings at political rallies.
