Bargaining Continues With Albuquerque Teachers Federation and APS

In about two weeks, APS plans to announce final budget plans to plug is $43 million shortfall. For weeks now, the teachers union and the district have been at the bargaining table trying to meet each others needs. APS has submitted its budget plans and now the district's budget department will review and adjust the numbers. On May 24th, it will be presented to APS' finance committee.
