Why Should I Sing With My Child?

As you can see, songs give children practice listening to and using new sounds and words, and more complex sentence structures over and over again in an engaging way. Songs that you can add actions or toys to will give your child another way to show understanding even if they are not yet speaking. Build rhymes and songs into your daily routine to encourage their listening and language development.
