Here is another installment in my Zen Music series of mini-films. The music for this started as an experiment using an ARP 2600 synthesizer patched into my Synthesizers.com analog synth. Also used were a vintage MiniMoog and a vintage MuTron Bi-Phase. Oh yeah and a Chinese Singing Bowl sample I have on my iPhone. As I built the track I started to get the definite sensation of a humming. . a vibration going through me from all those oscillators going at once and I thought of my friend Tana Martin and her Bees. Well actually, I call them her Beeple and she likes that. There's something that is so Zen about the hive and the Queen. The way they are all connected through The Tao. Anyway, I'm fascinated with her hive and intend to visit The Beeple next time I go up there. . .so this is for Queen Tana, her Drones and her Beeple.
