With the launch of FarCry 3 and Crysis 3 nearing, I decided to play some good ol' Crysis 1. Every time I fire up this old game it blows me away. Crysis was released on PC in 2007, and still has some of the most amazing graphics to date, as well as some of the best enemy AI. I am playing on easy mode so the enemies are pretty dumb in this vid, mostly to avoid dying so I can show off what this game looks like tweaked out.

I am running the Natural Mod and Reygel Texture pack as well as a handful of other texture upgrades and lighting and filter tweaks. Here is the list:

- Reygel Texture (w/ fix) also including NanoSuit pack
- High Resolution Foliage
- HD Grass
- Palm texture
- Rock Texture
- Global Ambient Lighting/POM AF
- Natural Mod
- Extreme Config w/AF

Links to all these can be found here:

That page recommends the water shader upgrade but that made my game crash on load so I removed it. They also recommend the Xtreme particle effects but the link to that file no longer works. If anyone knows another place to get that or anything else I should be running please leave a link in the comments.

System specs:
Asus P6TD Deluxe mainboard
Intel Core i7 940 OC to 3.84Ghz (stock 2.93)
MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III, running at stock clocks for this vid.
6GB Super*Talent 1333MHz DDR3
Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum 24bit
