Purdue University's Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition was created in 1987, making it the third oldest business plan competition in the country. All currently enrolled West Lafayette Purdue students are eligible to participate in the competition; non-Purdue students such as students from other universities, Purdue alumni, and local residents can also be team members, but Purdue students must make the final presentations to the judges. The 24th Annual Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition will be held February 22, 2011 with the top teams from undergraduate and graduate student divisions competing for $100,000 in prize money.
