A neighborhood mainstay that saw its zenith in the '70s and called it a night by the early '90s, The Snuggery's been reborn as an updated version of the classic corner pub, with loads of sports and music memorabilia, 20 60in plasmas, and cushy bar-height booths surrounding a 40-seat island bar -- so ask the bartender "What 'Jamaican?". Then leave. The menu's heavy on comfort classics like buttermilk broasted chicken (original or hot 'n spicy) w/ corn on the cob and mashed taters; sweet & smoky baby backs; and a substantial Southwestern section rocking chicken fajitas and cheesy enchiladas, which still think it's funny when they insist on being called "The Whole Us." Booze-wise they're slinging the usual suspects as part of specials like 1/2-priced-app happy hours, $12 buckets on NFL Sundays (yes, they have the Ticket), and $5 bloodies with a beer chaser, a habit guaranteed to keep anyone from chasing you.
