What are the requirements for the positions that are being considered by the Opportunities Ontario Provincial Nominee Program?

The positions under consideration by the Opportunities Ontario have to be permanent full time positions in skilled occupations -- 0, A or B by the National Occupational Classification. The position(s) needs to be necessary for the company's operations and meet the prevailing wage levels if the positions are to be filled by foreign workers or entry level wage levels if the positions are to be filled by international students. Filling the positions must not affect the settlement of any labour disputes or affect the employment of a person in such a dispute, or adversely affect employment or training opportunities for the Canadian citizens or Ontario permanent residents.
