Eclectic electronica: Pop, Soul, R&B. With his androgynous voice ARIAH LESTER gives a mesmerizing performance that is full of sensuality, movement and deep emotions. Falsettos, old-fashioned synths and powerful bassy beats create a unique world that is universal, accessible, yet hard to label. From slow ballads to powerful dance songs. About a couple of years ago, the former dancer and choreographer Lester Arias started to make beats and play with his voice as part of his choreographic research. After two years of exploration he is currently composing his first album and has decided to start his career as singer/musician under the name of ARIAH LESTER.  "Graduate from SNDO (School for New Dance Development) in Amsterdam, Lester Arias studied fine arts (at the Cristobal Rojas School of Fine Arts), acting (at the Juana Sujo School for Scenic Arts) and modern dance (at the UNEARTE - National Experimental University of Arts), all this in Caracas, Venezuela.

He recently won two important awards as theatre-maker in Belgium and Holland (at the Theater Aan Zee Festival and Moving Forward Festival). He teaches at SNDO and has also taught at the Venezuelan National Dance Company, at the UNEARTE and the Icelandic Dance Company. Finally, as maker, he's starting a collaboration with Frascati Theater; one of the principal production houses in the Amsterdam's Performance and Theatre scene. 

He’s a multidisciplinary artist that works within the fields of electronic music, singing, and drama, video-art, graphic design; all of this through the lens of movement."
