Russia has become the first country in sporting history to have athletes banned from an Olympic games due to doping offenses. The International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) said on Friday that Russia’s track and field stars could not compete at the games in Rio de Janeiro in August, after failing to prove its doping regime could ensure athletes were clean from performance-enhancing drugs. The soundtrack is a 1980 song by Estonian singer Tõnis Mägi about the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. The lyrics is: "This bright day we will remember for very very long time. The Earth will become happier and younger". Did he actually sing about 2016 Olympic Games and the fact that Russian athletes would not participate there?... German TV channel ARD made excellent documentaries about state-wide doping program in Russia, and actually it is these documentaries that have led to ban of Russian athletes from the Olympic Games.
