Dreams was shot in Jasper, Alberta. It was filmed with a Canon SL1 as well as a variety of other cameras. I wrote the poem earlier this year, and I hope you enjoy:) Music: Tim Kellner Film/Edit: Tommy DeWitt Additional Footage: Quincy & Pippa DeWitt /DREAMS/ Our world is not as it seems. But rather a collection of lost dreams. It is built from ideas, but ideas that are not our own. We learn from what we are shown. Told to stay close and don’t roam too far from home. And so we live on, never asking why. Never questioning the earth and its bright blue sky. Lost in translation, caught in between, Forbidden to think outside of the unseen. Isn’t it all created by dreams, With reality as its quilt, bursting at the seams? Unraveling with the discovery that reality is not always true. The only thing that is true is quite honestly you. Your thoughts, your ideas, hopes and dreams, Running in endlessly flowing streams. And you? You are Noah, steering the ark of space and time. An adventurer of the seas, with waves to climb. But, in the meantime, Don’t let your dreams go just yet, They are much too valuable to forget. -Tommy DeWitt
