Yikes, there are a few weird glitches in this stream.  This is with the records very light on downforce when I tightened the spindle nut and the motor torque on the low setting, meaning the record's moving very freely almost like butter rugs this way.  Very touchy.  The platter itself does not compensate against the registered speed like on the 5500, so you can nudge using the platter itself on these.  Not good for the motor probably, but it works.  I need to try more slipmat downforce and the high torque setting to see if that works better for nudging on the record itself.  Firmware is the included 1.20 and my drives actually have not been updated to it, either.

This is before the high frequency roll-off improvement that otherwise worsened the sound on the players.
