 This is the first in a series of videos documenting a project (certainly an experiment as well) in which I convert a wild, mediocre quality apple into a more complex multi graft tree with perhaps as many as 9 varieties of apples on it.  
 I've done this on a smaller scale on ornamental crab apples and after 2 years we have 'Macoun' and 'Kingston Black' grafts that are 8' tall and look ready to fruit!!!  I'm excited to see how it will translate into a much larger installation.
 This series will take a while since we're looking at multi-year projects, so come back to check it out as it evolves!
