Maintaining Non-Hard Surfaces - Utah Department of Transportation   - Video VH-237F - This video demonstrates maintenance of unpaved roads with a grader, shaping and smoothing to preserve the original road crown and provide good drainage. Blading technique is demonstrated: the borrow pit is pulled across one side of the road and windrowed materials are distributed evenly in eight passes. Spreading additional materials is also shown.
