I had to do a bit of research on this one before I ate it. I read that it is from the Barbary coast and the main ingredient in the African chili paste Harissa. After I bit into it I was waiting for some heat and it really never came. Before I could complain, the flavor was more than enough to win me over. I have a few spots open in the garden, and this is definitely gonna get one of them. Love it.
