(22 Nov 2018) KARL LAGERFELD UNVEILS THE XMAS LIGHTS ON THE CHAMPS-ELYSEE The "City of Lights" is now officially lit up with the splendor of the holidays. Designer Karl Lagerfeld inaugurated the holiday season in Paris on Thursday (22 NOV. 2018) when he turned on the holiday lights on the Champs-Élysées. Standing alongside the city's Mayor Anne Hidalgo and other special guests, the veteran designer counted down to the big moment. In unison, everyone on stage pushed a large, glowing button, lighting up the Parisian night.
