For curious minds..that wonder.. Presently water is still 2 meters above the flood point level of the Assiniboine River. This is some of what is still taking place with flooding. The video starts off West of Brandon Manitoba, down the Grand Valley road near the Trans Canada highway. This video was recorded on June 11th, 2011. Conditions around Manitoba more RAIN (over and over)..with very few days in between to dry out. The heavy rains throughout Manitoba indicate we will likely have high waters for a good portion of this summer if not all of it, as the rains have kept the flood waters from receding more..and at times rising again.
