Bastion is an action RPG produced by indie developer Supergiant Games. Bastion's visual design is heavily influenced by anime and has proven to be one of the more beautiful games -- indie or otherwise -- out this year. With hints of Zelda and Diablo likeness peppered throughout and the dynamic narration by a man with a comforting voice and wisdom seeping from every word, Bastion becomes a rather admirable game. Moving through a fantasy world that builds itself as you go with pieces tumbling from the sky, Bastion still remains simple in nature by focusing on a few well-polished mechanics.
