Although it's been out for almost two years now (first used on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+) I've not had a chance to use DeX before, so was quite interested.  In the Note 9 and Tab S4 you only need a USB Tye-C to HDMI cable for it to work, I bought this one -
