When Brooklyn resident Tom Doherty rides his bicycle home from work, he looks for moments he can capture through the lens of his camera. Lately, the self-proclaimed “urban photographer” said he looks for places he can fly his drone to capture New York City scenes. “If I see something, like a sunset, I go home and get my camera,” he said. “But, on one recent day, I saw the clouds, and knew I had to get my drone to shoot this.” Doherty was able to get drone footage of fog rolling over the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. “I’m always on the look out for any real weather events,” said Doherty.
