HELLYEAH's Vinnie Paul with, Lamb Of God, In Flames and Sylosis had a black tooth onstage in Kansas City, MO December 8th. A tribute was made in honor of the December 8th, 2004 death of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott.

Foo Fighters Dave Grohl told a CBS Local affiliate that he will not be touring with Queens Of The Stone Age in support of their new album. Grohl is once again working with the band, handling the studio drumming for their new album.

As far as the possibility of Them Crooked Vultures doing something new he stated:

"We've talked about it, I know that someday we'll get back together and do stuff, because we love playing with each other."

Them Crooked Vultures are Grohl, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin fame and Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme.

In a interview with MetalTitans.com, McLauchlin said POSSESSED plan on a new studio album: "We have music and basic song structures for three songs written so far. We want to take our time and craft songs which will definitely sound like classic POSSESSED. The plan is to record an EP/demo, which we will shop to labels, and then do the full-length. No word on any release date, as we are still in writing mode. We are holding off playing any shows until the end of the year. I expect we will enter the studio sometime early 2013."
