I was digging through some records I bought a few weeks ago and found a 4th studio recording by the Barbary Coast Orchestra from Dartmouth College. This band was started at Dartmouth College in 1919 and is still in existence today. I haven't been able to find any information about the band during the war years, or any recordings. I'm thinking these 1942 studio recordings might actually be very rare. Enjoy! Just got a 1943 AEGIS (Dartmouth College Yearbook) and here is the band: The band members are listed as: Saxophones Rudolph G. Whitten, Russell E. Chase, William M. Stahl, Charles R. Lazo Trumpets Leon J. P. Chapman, George W. Miller, Walter H. Olin Trombones James E. Rudnick, Norman L. Simpson Piano Herbert F. Storfer BASS Eugene Roitman Drums Kenneth F. Eldredge
