The sun in World of Warcraft is kinda static. It only moves up and down, and not in a arc like the sun in the real world does. This means that we are all used to that same sun direction everywhere. Now "if" one could go and control the sun position the world would change completely, and rotating it 180 degrees can make it hard to see where you actually are in-game. And that is a interesting fact. So this was obvious as a feature for Wow Machinima Tool.
