A Live Stream to celebrate World Guitar Day 6th October 2017

RE-UPLOADED DUE TO GnR COPYRIGHT NONSENSE - Yep they flagged my video for including them in a best of top five. That song get's on my nerves anyway as it is so often covered by bands badly. The only band I've heard do it well are Dave Barlow's band Ransom.

It's not clear if 2nd was awarded for a guitar riff by Van Halen or the guitar solo; obviously if solo then it shouldn't be in the contest. Neither parts seem memorable to me while every other awarded riff in the contest is very memorable. Maybe it's the Van Halen footage you selected.

I love Westone guitars - I have a Thunder 1A bass, a Thunder 1A and three Thunder 1 guitars as well as a Paduak 1 in my collection. Funnily enough, I was watching an old Top of the Pops re-run on BBC4 last night and Bucks Fizz were on, both guys "playing" Westone guitars. Edit: So very 80's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rz8QK0cXI2g

Maybe next poll could be Greatest Rock Bass Line followed by best drummer? Really looking forward to the Partocaster vids to inspire me to finally finish my own! Really wanted to be here live for the show, but "real life" kept me on the road.
