The Waldorf Vcf1 is an 18HP Eurorack module that combines an analog multimode filter with pre-filter distortion and post-distortion overdrive. The Vcf1 gives you ready access to all important sound parameters via sturdy metal knobs fixed to pots with pleasantly musical parameter ranges. Dynamically changing the harmonic content of audio signals is a basic tenet of synthesis. With the Vcf1, you have a multimode filter that can not only remove parts of the frequency spectrum, but also generate additional harmonics via its distortion section.
