Well I had a crappy Christmas Break because I got a cold two days before Christmas I've had it for a week. I was sick as a dog. I couldnt catch any of my buds after Christmas but they did give me some good shout outs over the scanner. My engineer friend said "hope you feel better Kelby, the guys and I at the hotel were wondering how you got sick? So we thought it was from kissing girls lol" That was a funny shout out that day. I also got another one at night from another engineer friend he said "Kelby over... hope you feel better and stay away from those girls, hope to catch you next time bud" those two shout outs from my engineer buds over the scanner that day made my day. I started to feel better when I was down in Louisiana visiting family. I only stayed down there for two days and my mom stayed longer. I took the Amtrak Texas Eagle from Longview, TX to St. Louis. We arrived in St. Louis early again like last year. I had to wait in the station till for three hours till I got on my second train which was Amtrak 311 from St. Louis to Kirkwood, MO I was so exhausted that day. Anyways no NS trains were running on New Years day but they were going to run on 2nd day of January. On 1-2-11 I went down to the tracks to catch THE SUPER CREW on M68 an extra 168. I guess my bud didnt know I was going to be down at the tracks so I surprised him. NS M12 is right behind them and NS 70Z is at Shattuc.
