For the first time in a long while, I oversleep pretty badly, waking up around lunch (I'm very jetlagged). Unbelievably, what wakes me up is the UPS guy, calling me *three times* rather than giving up. What does he deliver? An Oculus Rift Development Kit! This is me, minutes after waking up, minutes before having my mind blown. Oculus Rift: like experiencing television for the first time. I thought I had bought a cool piece of tech; instead I got a box of magic! On my first use, I reached out with my VR hand and was surprised and momentarily distraught when I couldn't feel the texture of the tree in VR-front-of-me. Music: Phoenix - Bankrupt!
