In this Dubspot Online preview, Thavius Beck shares a lesson from Level 1 of our Music Foundations course. Thavius explains the two basic shapes of melody: angular and melodic. He goes over the uses and effects of each and presents some examples from artists like The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, DJ Zinc, and Trace. Our Music Foundations course will help you unravel electronic music's origins, build your chops, learn musical language and theory, and make and play music the way you want.
