My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect wedding. There is so much hype in America about weddings, the wedding cake has taken on tremendous importance. For that reason, we have many, many different styles of wedding cakes today. This week, we're doing a wedding cake made out of sorbet shooter. We've done them out of cupcakes. There was a bride and groom who were fishermen and we made a huge fish. There's absolutely no reason the bride and groom can't pick something that is part of their personality, a part of the way they live and have it made in some sort of form of cake. It doesn't have to be. It could be candy. It could be vegetables. There's just no end to what people want to do today with cakes and somebody out there will make what suits your personality and your style of wedding. Of that, I assure you.
