Originally recorded for the album ANGST but it didn't quite fit with the feeling of the whole album. It was a really weird and confused time for me as I was just divorced and starting a new chapter in the book of my life and it was a really scary to stare at a blank sheet. Thankfully, everything was okay. ## (There's Nothing More Frightening than a) Blank Sheet If you want to write your own destiny just let go of the fear, let go of doubt and let's go out into the world when we came, we came with nothing and when we go, we'll go with nothing at all To some that's frightening, to me that is comforting Just buy me a coffee and let's talk about inspiration The travels and the philosophies and the fears of your worst monstrosities don't worry we are all afraid I kind of wander around, I kind of linger and taste and touch and feel what I don't have I don't have an agenda, I am cage-less and free all I need is my backpack and a guitar, a fire and some company a drink or two of the finest beer we could afford chatting up a nice girl and go for a long walk and If I'm lucky I'll hold her hand, I can't believe that is my goal In the morning I'll end up swollen and hungry maybe that's no way to be but that's what I want right now, and I guess that's how it will be (for now) Chords D F#m G A D
