Here's my version of Scott McCormick's bass line for the song "Similar Features" from Melissa Etheridge's eponymous debut album (1988). The production on this is rather cheesy and typical of the late 80's, but Scott's bass line pretty much drives the song. In case you're wondering "Why?", I had to learn this for a band that I sub with.

WHAT IS "ISOLATED BASS TRACK™"?:
This bass cover play along features TWO distinct versions.
The first time through is a normal stereo mix.
On the second pass, the bass guitar is panned all the way to the RIGHT.
If you go into your computer's sound settings and find the "BALANCE" (or "PAN" control), you can isolate the bass guitar from the rythym track by moving the slider all the way to the RIGHT.
