Nearly 3 lakh doctors are observing a 12-hour nationwide strike called by the Indian Medical Association or IMA on Tuesday. The doctors are protesting against the National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill, 2017, that seeks to replace the Medical Council of India (MCI).
