Lap 1 of the C class 2012 NCO Racing Hare Scramble at Metcalf Motorcycle Park. I started in the 1st timer row. The flag waver thought the single woman's class row rider was part of the 1st times and waved her back. She still managed to get the holeshot. I never ride MX tracks so I fell behind a couple spots but I managed to get into 1st place at one point. I finished 2nd out of 9 riders and passed a bunch of people from other classes but have a lot of practice I need to do. I loved the event and I thank NCO Racing for putting up a 1st timers class to make it less intimidating to get involved in the sport.
