In this LIVE ukulele tutorial we are going to review D Minor Pentatonic Scales in 2 positions of the neck.

The Minor Pentatonic Scale is one of the most highly used scales in all Rock, Blues, R&B, Reggae, Pop, and Funk styles of music.

Once you get these down you can solo like a champ. I will demonstrate how you can improvise on the ukulele using these 2 patterns that you are going to learn.

Remember that Pentatonic Scales have 5 notes (hence the name Penta). This is different than the Major Scales that have 7 different notes.
