In this lesson, you can learn how to say "year, month and day" in Mandarin Chinese while also studying the pinyin and sentence structure.

Some new Chinese words you can learn for daily conversation are:

年 (nián) = year
月 (yuè) = month
日 (rì) = day.

In addition, there are some useful Chinese questions you can ask when needed:

Jīntiān jǐ yuè jǐ rì? 
-- 今天几月几日?  
What is the date today?

Jīntiān xīngqī jǐ?
今天星期几?  
What day is it today?
