At the end of its security meeting with Nigeria’s High military command and other service members, the presidential committee on victims support fund has given indication that internally displace persons from the north-east can begin to return to their communities. The meeting chaired by General Theophilus Danjuma was to ascertain the level of safety in the affected areas in line with President Buhari’s Directive that IDP’s be re-settled in their home-communities in 2016. Acknowledging a minimal level of insurgent movement in the area, the spokesperson for the Committee urges Nigerians to watch one another’s back for a total win of the war against insurgency.
