I had an amazing time in Venice Beach celebrating my 3 year anniversary with my Lightship partner, Mark Martin before our tour got really crazy. Sure, it was colder in California then New York City when we got there but nothing beats being right on the ocean for a Long Island girl. Shout out to my Zoom H4. You wouldn't believe how windy it was on the beach this day and how crisp the sound came out is incredible. __________________________________________________________________ Kaila Mullady is a New York based performer – The 2015 World Beatbox Champion, 2014 America Vice Beatbox Champion, 3x Loop station champion and 3x, reigning Beatrhyme Champion. Kaila performs all over NYC and the country infusing beatboxing, singing, rapping, poetry and theater to push the boundaries of creativity and show just what the human instrument is capable of. Multi-instrumentalist, using a RC 300 she is able to loop guitar, beatboxing and vocals to become a one woman band. Part of NYC’s premier freestyle comedy rap group North Coast, incorporating improv comedy and hip hop. Teaching workshops all across the country promoting reading, writing and finding your own soul music.
