This is a severe squall line that moved through the Mackay region producing damaging winds up to 90km/hr. I was at the Harbour in an open and exposed area at the time and I am sure that some of the gusts were over 100, especially around the 7:50 mark, the entire car was shaking. My boss who has lived in Mackay for 15 years had never seen a storm like this one before.
