Yesterday afternoon the Modesto Police Department received several phone calls reporting that someone was destroying an apartment at the Marple Manor Senior Housing Complex on Coffee Rd. in Modesto, California. The callers told police that a man was throwing furniture and other items from the balcony of the second story apartment.

Soon after those calls came in police got more phone calls reporting a man running down Coffee Rd. who was naked and yelling at people.

When police arrived they found the nude suspect near the intersection of Coffee Rd. and Scenic Drive. They were quickly able to determine that this was the same suspect who was vandalizing the apartment down the street.

during their investigation police determined that the resident of the apartment at Marple Manor had befriended the suspect earlier in the day. The victim invited the suspect into his apartment and then later left, leaving the man there alone.

The suspect is described by police as a known transient and offender who they have had multiple encounters with. The suspect was booked into the Stanislaus County Jail on multiple charges. No one was injured during the incident.
