http://kbandstraining.com/building-foot-speed-and-range-baseball-hands-and-foot-speed-drill/ The Hands and Foot Speed Baseball Drill is an amazing drill used to challenge the range and quickness of infielders when approaching a baseball. By utilizing Kbands, baseball players will be able to build muscle by activating the fibers utilized for lateral movements. With more muscle activation each baseball player will enhance their bodies’ ability to move quickly from side to side. The hands and foot speed baseball drill is also great at helping baseball players develop hand positioning on the move. Often times during a baseball game players will be required to move quickly to the side while making a play on the ball. By practicing quick movements, with proper positioning, baseball players will greatly improve the quickness of their hands and feet movement. To set up this baseball drill players will need to place two speed and agility cones about 3 to 5 yards apart. This will help us to stretch the range and keep the drill flowing. As baseball players approach the ball they will field it and quickly toss the ball back to the throwing partner and continue laterally to the other cone. Work this drill in before practice to ensure the muscles of the athlete are warmed up. For more fielding drills head to our website, KbandsTraining.com, and continue training today.
