Sandy Jardine represented Scotland on 38 occasions, and played for his country in both the 1974 and 1978 FIFA World Cups. He played 451 matches for Rangers and 184 times for Hearts in a career which spanded three decades. In 2006, he was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame.
