GARDEN GROVE – An 11-year-old girl is dead, her 36-year-old mother injured from being shot and stabbed, and her step-father in custody with self-inflicted stab wounds, police said on Wednesday, Aug. 29.
The 6:30 a.m. incident occurred in the 8900 block of Blossom Avenue.
The 36-year old mother was in stable condition, authorities said. Two boys, ages 6 and 2, were unharmed in the attack.
