The Chinese Navy aircraft carrier force completed training for nighttime takeoff and landing of carrier-borne fighter jets recently, making China one of the few countries that are capable of carrying out such missions. Several J-15 fighter jets successfully took off from the flight deck and landed precisely at night. As the carrier is in motion, the nighttime missions are considered far more difficult and dangerous than those in the daytime due to the low visibility and the limited space on the flight deck.
