It feels so good to be back here in the Sahara Desert in Morocco. This is a perfect playground for us to straighten our tube light-painting skills and experiment with new tricks. After a two-days roadtrip from Marrakesh to Merzouga, we reached the desert by mid pm. It tooks us only a few minutes and boom, we were already in the sand dunes with the equipment, ready to light up the whole desert.

About this series: Light-painting in Morocco was filmed in May 2018 and released on December 16 of the same year. We decided to go there after the Photopills camp in Spain mostly to find back a place we love (Merzouga) and to experiment more with the light-painting tubes and other tools. What makes this place special is that it’s very warm (we can shoot at any time of the night), and we can easily walk from the hotel to the desert.

--- About the Tube Stories
We're a dancer/photographer duo making our way using a tube, a feather, and a flashlight. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. The purpose of the Tube Stories is to bring a brighter and more colorful night to whoever is going to cross our path. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more.
