Robert recounts events 69 years ago on the morning of Dec 7 1941 as a Second Loader on a 5"-25 Cal AA gun onboard the USS Nevada. 

The Nevada was the one Battleship that got underway during the attack, attracting plenty of enemy fire during the second wave of Japanese attacks.
She was run aground at Hospital Point leaving the harbor entrance open, and repairable to fight another day.
