As a person that makes mistakes constantly, I pray that I can give hope to just one person by this video. None of us are perfect. Look how things happen to different people of different walks of life, races and economical circumstances at different times of life. Do you judge a man or woman's past or do you observe their present actions that may affect others in the future? From Malcom 'Red' Little to Al Hajj Malik Shabazz. From Mike Tyson to Malik Abdul Aziz...All Emcees featured on this song are from the inner city of South Central L.A.(the hood). We (like a great deal of you) have seen a lot of bad, good and good in the bad. We converted to this great merciful faith despite coming from other situations that consumed our peers. Some of us accepted the submission to will of The Creator on maybe a good day or maybe a bad day. Regardless, it was a day that we were given another chance to live and turn to Him for guidance. No matter if we still have our issues, we still believe that Thee Most High is in control of the whole affair. I thank Hip hop and its Zulu Nation for the respect it has for Islam within the foundations of its culture. Greetings to Shaykh Hajj Khalid who I see with M. Tyson in the video....This song is dedicated to Yusef Hasan rahimullah.
