The first destination on our road trip to Belgium was the city of Strasbourg in the Alsace region of France. Matilda greatly enjoyed the canals and locks in the old part of the city and was mightily impressed by the cathedral, which was for a long time the tallest structure in all of Europe. It was wonderful having our friends Layla, Casey and M with us and a big thank you to Casey for the introduction to episode 85 of 'Matilda visits'.
