"SIT-COM HELL" was a regular 3-part comedy bit that my funny colleagues and I at American Premiere often wrote back in the 90s and 00s. The premise was, what would happen if classic 60s and 70s sit-coms were updated to modern-day situations. I wrote this particular one when I came up with the mash-up of "Leave It To Beaver" and "Beavis & Butt-head", at the time when "B&B" was at the height of its controversy/popularity. I thought, "what would happen if the impressionable young Beaver got influenced by the baddest (animated) boys on TV?" This bit is the result. NOTES: This 3-parter was edited together so as to spare the listener from having to listen to the opening theme song over and over. It was produced by the great Joel Perry, and engineered by Pete Perkins. It stars the one and only Steve Stoliar as Ward Cleaver, Wally Wingert as Butt-Head, and Jim Wise as Beavis. I don't remember who played the Beaver.
