Originally recorded May 2, 2015. Why does every old garage have a very unsafe extension cord in it from too many years ago that no one ever threw out? There was a black extension cord that had an odd outlet-end on it, the outer insulation is all taped up, the outlet doesn't fit stuff right, you can ground cheat it because it's too thin. The worst part is the plug end was lopped off and just wire-nutted in to my outside lights. And, I used said dangerous cord for several years to power our holiday lights. But last time I happened to be taping up another part of the insulation on it, and when I twisted it, the white and black insulation on the inside wires was crumbling away. It got to the point where it was too unsafe for the safety third guy. xjoe81x to the rescue, make sure you check out his channel at https://www.youtube.com/xjoe81x
